It's May!
...Which means, of course, that we can all start planting right away! Well, maybe that's not entirely true here in the North, but we can still get excited about it, and we can start preparing for that magical day when we're sure it's not going to snow. When that day does come, you're going to want to be ready, and instead of rushing out to buy a bunch of expensive chemical fertilizers and soil, why not reach for your good old, reliable rotten vegetable matter? Oh, it is not gross! By the time your compost is finished with it, excess vegetable and lawn waste is transformed into humus,a nutrient rich soil perfect for gardening. If you haven't alread y got a compost set up, it's easy as pie. Check out our brochure "Compost Happens" for tips and advice.
