Stewardship

What is Product Stewardship?

Product Stewardship is the collection, transportation and recycling or appropriate disposal of unwanted, left over or expired products.  This service is paid for by the producer and/or the consumer.  Consumers contribute to this through eco-fees collected at the time of purchase.  Some examples of products that have eco-fees are tires, computers, and vehicle batteries.
