Back by  popular demand, glass will again be accepted for recycling.  On April 1st, Eco-Depot Recycling has announced that recylcing depots in the region will again be accepting glass bottles and jars that were food containers.  Please ensure your glass food containers are clean and free of food residue.  You will also need to remove all labels and lids from the glass.  Any glass bottle that required a deposit at the time of purchase will still be recycled at the local bottle drops. read more
Are you ready?  Earth Hour is Saturday, March 28th.  NEAT is working on their plans for that night and we hope you are too.  This is the day for the world to join together, turn out all of the lights, and show that one small change can make a big difference.   Find your candles and make plans now to go dark for just one hour.  There are over 8,500 hours in a year.  We can turn out the lights for just one of those.  Go to the EARTH HOUR website for more information.
