Think About Alternatives

Refusing certain actions and products doesn't mean limiting your life. Alternatives can be found for almost anything. Some are easy...

Substitute something friendlier for straight-to-the-landfill items such as styrofoam. This can be as easy as looking one shelf up in the grocery store, buying eggs in recyclable paper instead.
Make one-time purchases to replace items that are normally disposable. Buy or make a stock of reusable cloth shopping bags, find yourself the perfect travel coffee mug and build litterless lunch kits for the whole family. Above all, remember to use all of this stuff!
Be good to yourself and the earth. Make the switch to greener, cleaner household and personal care products. Reduce the toxicity of your home environment.
