The Product Care program is a way for British Columbians to return leftover household flammables, gasoline and pesticides to local collection depots.

Materials Accepted:

  • Household paint thinners, other solvents and camp fuels
  • Consumer pesticides with the poisonous (skull & cross bones symbol) and Pest Control Product (PCP) number
  • Gasoline in approved ULC containers only.


Please note that for safety reasons:

  • Containers must be tightly sealed.
  • Containers must be clearly labeled with their contents.
  • Do not return paint in glass containers.
  • Gasoline must be in an ULC-approved container.
